Are you living with a decayed or fractured tooth? Maybe your tooth is compromised in other ways, such as a shape discrepancy or discoloration.

Did you know a dental crown can cover and eliminate any of these concerns, providing much-needed relief from your dental issues and restoring function and aesthetics to your smile? Here's what you should know.

The Dental Crown Process

Restoring your tooth with a crown is relatively straightforward and conveniently requires only two appointments at our Beachwood dental office, making the process less burdensome for you.

During the first visit, Dr. Taub prepares your tooth for its new restoration by taking impressions and fitting a temporary crown. We take digital impressions that provide 3-D images Dr. Taub uses to design and create your new restoration. This eliminates the messy and uncomfortable impressions you might've had.

Dr. Taub will send the digital impression directly to a dental lab that will handcraft your new tooth with customized, high-quality porcelain. This process typically takes two to three weeks, and then you'll return to Beachwood Smiles to have Dr. Taub permanently place your new tooth.
