Charles is a letter carrier who had severe recession on both sides of his mouth. He only wanted to fix one side at a time. Dr. Taub performed pinhole gum rejuvenation to treat the recession.
Eddie is an attorney with severe wear on both upper and lower teeth. After determining his bite and TMJs (jaw joints) were stable, crown lengthening surgery was done to lengthen the teeth. Dr. Taub placed four implants and placed dental crowns on all of Eddie’s upper teeth. We fabricated a custom nightguard to limit future wear. The patient was limited to only doing his upper teeth due to his finances.
Ephraim is a college student who had tetracycline staining on his teeth. KöR™ Ultra-T improved the teeth color, which involved two in-office visits and approximately 4-6 weeks of at-home bleaching. Ephraim got engaged once he achieved his new, attractive smile!
Esther is a saleswoman. She came in with the complaint of a broken front tooth and had severe crowding. Treatment for Esther included clear orthodontics to straighten her teeth, KöR™ Nighttime whitened the teeth. Resin bonding was added on the lower anterior teeth to close the black triangles and the triangular-shaped teeth. Dr. Taub placed a couple of implants to replace the broken teeth.
George is a retired painter who came to our office with multiple broken and infected teeth. Dr. Taub removed a few teeth and crown lengthening periodontal surgery was performed. Crowns and bridges were done on the entire upper arch and a few teeth on the lower arch. We addressed his bite as well to make sure that he has long-term stability with his new smile.
James is a boat captain and always wanted to close the diastema (gap) between his two front teeth. His treatment did not require a local anesthetic to complete resin bonding in less than 45 minutes. James loves his new smile.
Jessica’s lateral incisors had old dark resin restorations. KöR™ Deep Bleaching lightened her teeth, and Dr. Taub replaced dark resins with porcelain veneers.
Ron is a travel blogger who presented with extensive decay and gum disease. Dr. Taub completed basic resin bonding to remove the decay on the front four teeth. Ron still receives treatment for gum disease, but by removing bacteria he will be able to clean his teeth better.
Sherrie is a massage therapist and previously had a cleft lip, which was repaired. She was unhappy with her smile, but could not afford porcelain veneers. Freehand resin veneers done in the office for a third of the price of porcelain veneers gave her beautiful results.
Many patients in Beachwood are looking for a solution to black triangles between teeth. Black triangles occur due to gum recession and can make teeth non-uniform and too long. Using carefully matched composite, Dr. Taub added to the tooth structure to fill in black triangles between the teeth.
